Next up, set your own event reminders

The invite experience can be pretty stressful. Several features we’ve added are specific to feedback we got from people who are in such a situation. Knowing what your guests will see, get, and when is important. Right now if you make an event that will happen in several days, we send a reminder to your guests about a day in advance. If you make an event that will happen in several weeks, we send a reminder a week and a day in advance.

For this week’s deployment, you will be able to choose when your event reminders automatically send – 1, 3, 7 days in advance. Or if they send at all cause some people would prefer to message their guests themselves via the nifty “Notify” link (pictured below). Notify lets you to send a personal message to everyone or the ones who have said they are coming.
